Strategy
Formation Choose the formation you would like to play with. Choosing a formation might depend on your opponents team. While playing against a stronger opposition go for defensive formations like 5-4-1 or a 6-3-1. Accordingly go for an attacking formation like 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 while playing against a considerably weaker opposition. Or else go for standard formations like 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1. Each formation has its own advantages and disadvantages , so be careful while choosing your formation. |
Playing style Your playing style should also take into consideration the formation you employ. Playing styles such as wing play would be effective when you choose a formation like the 3-5-2 or 3-4-3. Different playing styles that you can use are normal, short pass, long pass and wing play. |
Team Mentality You can assign your players attacking, neutral or defensive mentality. An overall attacking mentality would increase your goalscoring chances but might lead your defense prone to attacks. Likewise an overall defensive mentality will increase your defensive strength but then your goalscoring chances get reduced. Creating a balance would be the key here. |
Aggression Choose an aggression level with which you wish your team to play. A higher aggression level would make your players strive for the extra , but making them more injury and card prone . |
